About the client: Our client is a Melbourne-based web design and development agency with over 7 years experience and a stunning track record of creating high-end websites and apps that will take your brand to the next level.

Job Description: Our client is seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join their team. The role involves working 40 hours per week, ideally starting at 9 am. In this position, you will leverage your design skills to contribute to projects that drive the agency’s success and amplify the online presence of the agency's clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design custom WordPress websites using Elementor Pro.
• Build medium-sized websites (20+ pages) from scratch and redesign existing ones as required.
• Integrate and configure WordPress plugins, with a focus on flexibility to adapt to project-specific needs.
• Collaborate with in-house designers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and accurately.
• Adhere to established design styles and guidelines.
• Ensure responsiveness, optimization, and functionality across all projects.
• Maintain a portfolio of projects for presentation and review.
• Utilize project management tools (ClickUp) and communication platforms (WhatsApp/Slack).
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in WordPress development, with a strong focus on Elementor.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, CSS, and general custom coding best practices.
• Ability to build custom components, themes, and functionalities as needed.
• Familiarity with WordPress plugins such as Listing Pro (not mandatory, but preferred).
• Experience working with medium-sized websites (20+ pages).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with third-party API integration.
• Professional Experience:
• Previous experience in a web agency or as a freelancer.
• Proven track record with a portfolio of completed WordPress projects.
• Familiarity with time-tracking tools and adherence to tracked hours.
