We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to contribute to the development of the new Sales Planning & Forecasting (SPF) Master Data (MD) product, which will replace the existing SP START application. Built entirely on Azure, this role is pivotal in shaping the architecture and guiding technical decisions to ensure the product meets and exceeds project goals.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Guide technical decisions within the team to align with best practices and project goals.
• Identify and implement process and tooling optimizations, proposing innovative solutions.
• Ensure tools, software, and library versions are kept up to date.
• Design and implement robust test automation concepts.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud deployments.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Expertise in automated testing and testing frameworks for Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Proficiency in automation, test-first development, and continuous delivery.
• In-depth understanding of Git, including modern branching strategies.
