Job description

Targomo is a Berlin-based growing software company specialized in location intelligence. Our web-based platform, TargomoLOOP, supports well-known brands in retail, hospitality and fitness industries in +25 countries with AI-powered location network planning, data visualization and site selection.


We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with a frontend focus on Angular, who is enthusiastic about cutting-edge technology and creating a top-tier, user-friendly SaaS product. As part of our team, you'll work with agile development practices and contribute to discussions on the future direction of our product.


Tasks

  • Coding: Write code for modern, progressive, map-based web-applications.
  • Collaboration: Eagerly discuss complex problems, address specific technical questions of colleagues/product managers and share knowledge about different technologies.
  • Integration: Integrate various data sources into scalable apps for users.
  • Shaping the Product: Make complex GIS concepts intuitively accessible to non-professionals.


Requirements

Must-have-skills:

  • Solid experience with Front End Frameworks; Angular, React or Vue (we use Angular 18)
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases
  • Very good communication skills in English

Nice-to-have-skills:

  • Experience with mapping libraries, especially maplibre, mapbox, leaflet or Google Maps
  • Experience with node.js, Redux, and npm
  • Knowledge of API development (we use express)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Working experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, Go or any other modern web technology
