About The OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior End User Computing (EUC) Specialist to join our Central Functions LOB. We are flexible with the location as this role can be performed from either our
Adelaide or Melbourne office.
As a Senior EUC Specialist you will be responsible for leading the management, support, and continuous improvement of the end-user computing environment within the enterprise. This includes ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, and collaboration tools. The role also involves strategic planning, team leadership, and serving as a technical escalation point.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic direction and recommendations for the development and enhancement of the end-user computing environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT goals and focussing on the user experience.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for EUC technologies, including endpoint management platforms, operating systems, application delivery solutions, virtual desktop infrastructure and more.
- Collaborate with other SMEs outside of the EUC team to deliver complex infrastructure and capability to the business
- Serve as the escalation point for complex EUC issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize business impact.
- Mentor and support junior staff in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technology adoption.
- Implement and enforce endpoint security measures, including antivirus, encryption, device management policies, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Design and maintain application delivery mechanisms, such as virtual desktops and virtual presentation (e.g., Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Omnissa Horizon) and software packaging for enterprise distribution.
- Lead EUC-related projects, such as large scale OS upgrades, hardware refreshes, or deployment of new collaboration tools.
About YOU
- Expert knowledge of Intune, SCCM/MECM, MDM, and endpoint management for Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
- Knowledge and understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, scripting, APIs) and a strong understanding of modern workplace technologies.
- Ability to align EUC strategies with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to mentor team members and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay ahead of disruptive and emerging technologies.
- Defence Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain NV2
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
