Job Title: Staff Engineer

Salary Range: $6,000 - $7,000 USD per month

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote


Location: Remote (US-based company with Developers Across Europe and South America)

Are you a senior software engineer looking to elevate your career? This opportunity might be perfect for you! Our Client, a US-based software company, is seeking a talented Staff Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to provide technical expertise on multiple exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Work (75%)

  • Technical Excellence: Ensure projects maintain a high standard of technical quality while being completed on time, within scope, and within budget with minimal bugs.
  • Hands-On Approach: Review code, engage in sprint discussions, and validate plans, diving into details when necessary.
  • Project Ownership: Be the first to establish architecture and methodologies on new projects. Build trust through your expertise and guide the team, even when introducing new technologies.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address challenges faced by the team or project.
  • Client Needs: Understand and articulate client business requirements to engineers.
  • Sprint Work: Review project plans, align team efforts on sprints, and monitor milestones. Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and be ready to code if necessary.

Process Work (10%)

  • Understand and recommend improvements for technical processes within the company.

Mentoring and Coaching (15%)

  • Assess engineer performance accurately, provide clear feedback, and help team members enhance their skills.
