Business Development Manager – SAAS

Are you a seasoned salesperson who loves to get behind something they really believe in? Or maybe you just like the idea of taking a step back from the hustle and bustle of your daily commute and trade the train for at home stay-in!

Our client is looking for someone to join their growing Business Development team in revolutionising the tourism sector - one of the largest industries in the region. This ever expanding industry is full of untapped business potential and excitement to boot. 

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Control the entire sales process, you'll be cold calling and prospecting, booking demo's and client onboarding in an untapped market where your product makes a HUGE difference. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and refine lead strategies - you'll get to have a say and a seat at the table for new market penetration decisions in a supportive and inclusive work environment. 
  • Assist operators in streamlining operations and increasing SAAS platform traffic. 
  • Get to know the industry through experiences - take part in the benefits to familiarise yourself with your clients (who are awesome and offer cool stuff!) 
What You’ll Bring:
  • Excellent Communication - both written and verbal - you'll need to know how to leverage communication skills to not only build and foster relationships but also when doing initial reach out. 
  • A desire to hit targets and a hungry mindset - remote and hybrid work isn't for everyone. You'll need to have your own intrinsic motivation to get the job (though you will get all the support you could ever ask for or want)
  • Strong consultitative selling skills with a keen ability to listen and understand client needs and offer effective solutions to sell a platform that is customisable based on the type of client you're speaking with. 
What’s in It for You?
  • $60,000–$80,000 base salary + superannuation. On top of that you will be able to earn uncapped comms with the current BDM's earning around 5-6K per month (after their first 6 months).
  • Initial Remote start with a future transition to Hybrid working (though would most likely be in a WeWork / Co-working station) to build team comradarie.
