Job Title: Part-Time Human Resources Assistant - Remote

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to join our innovative remote team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about fostering growth in businesses by attracting top talent and supporting a vibrant distributed workforce.

In this role, you will work in close collaboration with our Human Resources Manager, delivering essential support throughout the recruitment process—from coordinating interviews to ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees. Your efforts will be pivotal in nurturing a positive organizational culture by connecting with candidates and facilitating an efficient hiring journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all candidate communications, including scheduling interviews and providing timely follow-ups.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates’ qualifications to select the most suitable team members.
  • Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel valued and prepared for their roles.
  • Utilize social media and professional networks to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and online portfolios to pre-screen applicants effectively.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define job requirements for each open position.
  • Draft and disseminate recruiting communications to prospective candidates, with follow-up as necessary.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future recruitment needs.
  • Keep track of candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal tools.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and sources of hire.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or a related human resources/administrative position.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with ATS software.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging with candidates and team members professionally.
