Highlights Healthcare ABA is seeking a passionate Clinical Integrity Specialist - BCBA/LBA to join our growing team for this remote role.
As a Clinical Integrity Specialist (BCBA) at Highlights Healthcare, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of clinical documentation across Highlights Healthcare. This role involves collaborating with clinicians, contracting, and quality assurance teams to uphold high standards of clinical integrity and support clinical excellence.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Review: Analyze clinical documentation (including but not limited to treatment plans, Behavior Support Plans, Functional Behavior Assessments) to ensure it meets regulatory and accreditation standards.
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training sessions for clinical staff on best practices for documentation and coding.
Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits of clinical records to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs, and administrative teams to address documentation issues and enhance clinical workflows.
Quality Assurance: Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs related to clinical documentation.
Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and revision of clinical documentation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited program in ABA or a related field.
- Current BCBA Certification from the BACB. (NC licensure preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coding systems (CPT) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation software.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in clinical documentation, coding, or healthcare compliance.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and tools.
- 7+ years as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
