We are looking for an Operations Manager on a contract basis to ensure operational excellence!  This role supports key departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Finance, enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives through effective collaboration and resource management. By developing and implementing policies, improving workflows, and leveraging data-driven insights, the role ensures the company operates at peak performance.

This position also plays a critical role in mitigating operational risks, managing vendor and partner relationships, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives, including international expansion. Ultimately, the role serves as a bridge between strategy and execution, aligning operational efforts with the company’s vision to deliver sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.  

Requirements

What we’re looking for: 

  • Having worked in a B2C start-up environment helping it scale-up.
  • 5-10 years of experience in operations management or a related role, ideally in a high-growth start-up.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Proven success in working with Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements that led to measurable results.
  • Experience managing external vendor & partner relationships to ensure delivery of value.
  • Prior involvement in setting up entities or operations in new regions, including navigating regulatory landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience in using performance data and metrics to evaluate and improve operations.
  • Close attention to detail to ensure high standards of operation.
  • Collaborative: Values teamwork and excels in building strong working relationships & communication across departments.
  • Adaptable: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is quick to adapt to changes.
  • Customer-Centric: Always considers customer satisfaction as a priority in decision-making.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • ⁠Supporting departments: Overseeing the daily operations of the company and supporting the work of executives in departments like Marketing, sales, and finance.
  • ⁠Improving efficiency: Maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the business.
  • ⁠Developing strategies: Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies, and strategizing process improvements⁠ ⁠
  • Monitoring performance: Evaluating performance by analyzing data and metrics, and monitoring product performance and customer satisfaction
  • ⁠Anticipating risks: Anticipating and tracking operational and tactical risks 
  • ⁠Working with sales: Working with sales teams to help set and meet goals
  • ⁠Managing vendors: Managing relationships with partners and vendors
  • Participating in expansion: Participating in international expansion activities like setting up new entities, navigating the regulatory landscape and corporate alliances
