Job description

POSITION: Permanent, Full Time & Part Time (minimum of 22.5 hours per week)

Service operating hours 8am-9pm 7 days a week

LOCATION: Fully remote

SALARY: £44,500 - £54,075 depending on experience

Our Clinical team set out to empower every young person to build the capabilities for long-term mental health to successfully navigate life’s challenges and experience a better quality of life. We tailor our sessions around each individual to ensure they receive comprehensive person-centred care.  

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Clinical Psychologists have a vital role in the delivery of clinical sessions alongside contributing to the development of clinical staff and clinical pathways. Healios have a variety of opportunities for Clinical Psychologists, dependent upon experience and areas of interest. We are inviting you to join us in achieving the following:

  • Delivery of clinical sessions within the Integrated Therapies division, via pioneering Healios online platform, to include initial needs assessments and time limited therapeutic intervention drawing on evidence based models, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused and systemic approaches
  • Working as a team to develop clinical pathways that are cost effective and offer best practice care
  • Opportunities for contribution towards research, product development and continuous quality improvement  
  • Assessment and monitoring of risk and contributing to care planning
  • Consultation to Healios multi-disciplinary colleagues also working with C&YP
  • Supervision of CAMHS staff, Trainee Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and CBT trainees 
  • Contribution to and participation in our internal CPD programme 

As a Clinical Psychologist in our service you will report into a Team Manager and have access to regular clinical supervision.

 To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:

  • Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration
  • Demonstrable experience of working in front-line children and young people across a range of mental health difficulties
  • Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives 
  • A desire to become part of a collaborative environment and share knowledge and learning for the benefit of all
  • A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS
  • Flexibility to support our mission of bringing healthcare to anyone, anytime, anywhere
  • A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children
  • Wifi connection. Minimum of 2 mbps up and download speed

Great to have but not essential:

  • Experience of supervision / having completed supervisor training course
  • Experience of leading on service development initiatives
