Job description

At Weave, analysts are strategic thought partners who generate insights that can be used to develop new products and services, drive operational efficiency, improve the customer experience, and identify new business opportunities. As an analyst you will proactively explore data, identify trends, and form hypotheses about where we have the biggest opportunity to make an impact. Your recommendations will inspire action and ultimately impact the company's growth. The ideal candidate is a deeply curious self-starter and has a strong understanding of managing analytics projects – prioritizing impactful analyses and making insightful recommendations.

We currently have two openings on our team:

  • Payments Analyst – This analyst will support our Payments team in driving adoption and usage of the Payments experience. Experience with payment systems, data, methods, and challenges (e.g. chargebacks, fraud, etc.) is helpful.

  • Operations Analyst – This analyst will drive excellence in the customer journey by supporting our customer success and support teams. Familiarity with customer support platforms, processes, and tools is helpful.

What you will own

  • Serve as a thought partner to cross-functional teams, collaborating on how to identify and solve business problems using data.

  • Conduct exploratory analysis of complex data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Use advanced analytics techniques to derive meaningful insights from data.

  • Effectively scope and manage analytics projects in partnership with stakeholders.

  • Help leaders and teams establish and monitor key performance metrics, and develop strategies for improving them.

  • Provide data-driven insights to support decisions about operations, workforce management, forecasting, business strategies, product strategies, etc.

  • Develop and maintain accurate and meaningful dashboards and reports.

  • Train stakeholders on how to use data to make better decisions.

  • Collect, clean, prepare, and explore data from a variety of sources, including internal databases, external APIs, and customer surveys, etc.

  • Form hypotheses about trends in the data and develop ways to test those hypotheses.

  • Work with data engineering to build and refine data pipelines to automate data collection, processing, and delivery.

  • Work with analytics engineering to define and build data models that power deeper analytics and business insights.

  • Create data visualizations that are easy to understand and interpret.

  • Write clear and concise reports and presentations – focusing on the “so what?”.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences of all levels.

  • Document methods and processes for data analysis tasks and best practices.

What you will need to accomplish the job
