Job description

LPA is seeking a passionate Marketing Business Development Coordinator that assists with planning and managing business leads that support the LPA brand. This role will have a positive impact supporting our Business Development Leader and Practice Directors with growth of new business opportunities.



What you will do:

  • Support our Business Development Leader, Practice Director, and Studio Director on Go/No Go’s.

  • Collaborate on GNG/Win Strategy and RFP process.

  • Assist with prep and coach meetings with Relationship Leaders prior to client/potential client meetings or events.

  • Help develop internal market strategies and research market trends for project opportunities.

  • Assist with meetings and client/potential client debriefs.

  • Review past data to identify trends that help to make informed/strategic decisions.

  • Identify root cause of pain points or inefficiencies and collaborate with Business Development Leader to solve problems.

  • Collaborate with Business Development Leader and Practice Director to create regional BD meeting agendas.

  • Assist with RFP kick-off meetings to provide lead insights.

  • Collaborate with Studio and Practice Directors to execute regional BD strategies.

  • Ability to build and grow client, partner relationships, and represent LPA with gravitas and understanding.

  • Attend regional marketing events with strategic networking.

  • Assist with preparation of opportunity projections in collaboration with Practice(s).

  • Participate in progressing and cultivating leads and CRM updates.

  • Manage data for new prospective clients in CRM.

  • Collaborate within the Integrated Communications Team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, conference coordination or communications.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to keep key stakeholders informed on deliverable statuses.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple disciplines to successfully execute projects.

  • Proven ability to lead, coordinate and problem solve.

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to spot trends and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office.

  • Experience with CRM software

  • Ability to engage in limited amount of travel.

  • Flexibility to be available after-hours and on weekends during events.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
