How you can make a difference
The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for scaling several Oracle based products used by millions of people nationwide. If you're passionate about data this is the perfect opportunity to join us in our mission to connect health and wealth.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform investigations on queries, stored procedures, views, etc. that should be optimized and refactored
- Design, develop, apply and support data standardization policies
- Analyze enterprise and application logical and physical data models and associated business rules to insure standards and best practices are followed
- Attend and represent data architecture and solutions in architectural guild
- Work closely with the Application System Architect to implement enterprise architecture across owned systems and platforms
- Act as a mentor to technical teams and promote quality standards and the right vision of the product
- Collaborate w/Product Owners on identifying, and prioritizing technical enablers to support product features, and the product roadmap
What you will need to be successful
- Expert-level experience with investigating, troubleshooting, and optimizing Oracle databases
- Tuning SQL & PL-SQL to meet performance and scalability requirements
- Experience working with multi-terabyte RAC & Exadata systems
- Understanding of Oracle Data Guard
- Hands-on experience designing and architecting database objects and data integrations that are readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, and performable
- Demonstrated ability to leverage the appropriate database technology based on business use cases (i.e. RDBMS, Document, Key-Value, etc…)
- Solid understanding of data structures, interactions between software applications, and databases
- Proven ability to mentor and train others on design and use of best practices
- Proven ability to design for "ilities" across distributed systems (scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, reliability, etc.)

Salary Range:
$127000.00 To $160,000.00 / year

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives and restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range in addition to a full range of benefits including:
