Job description

The Senior Director of IT provides leadership and hands on support in all areas of IT across regions and the corporate office/support center. The position supports M&A activities related to IT across the company as needed and oversees other managers, personnel, and teams in support of operational technical support.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Experience: Prefer applicable bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • IT support and management, implementation, and support

  • Office365 Platform

  • Azure Platform, IT Desktop, network and general Support

  • IT project management

  • IT systems integration and support

  • IT project management experience

Requirements:                              

  • Knowledge and experience to lead all aspects of IT support

  • Significant experience managing IT related vendors

  • Excellent Customer Service

  • Support Information Security, Privacy & Compliance policy and requirements

  • Reporting of metrics and analytics across regions and the business as a whole

Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto insurance.

Travel: 40% - may fluctuate

Environmental and Working Conditions:

Works in a variety of settings and office environments and can support physical activities required to support IT equipment installation and support. Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Physical and Mental Effort:

Must be able to work under stressful conditions and time constraints of the agency or projects. Work requires sitting for long periods of time, bending, and stretching for files and office supplies. May occasionally require lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Must be able to lift, move, and install computer equipment and related systems as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide Office365 and Azure Infrastructure support and management of teams supporting these services

  • Manage systems/services development and life cycle management

  • Provide information Security/Privacy/Compliance (legacy apps & systems, platforms, incident management support, etc.)

  • Manage Systems/Networks/Services maintenance

  • Manage IT related service providers and ensure SLA’s are met

  • Manage contracts, decommission legacy services, implement new services across IT functions where needed

  • Develop customer and stakeholder relationships to enable alignment and across the technology team and business

  • Interact with management and staff to provide technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions

  • Build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships with a wide range of constituents and ensure customer satisfaction across tasks and projects

  • Provide guidance and training to IT managers

  • Own and manage various IT related projects for the region and nationwide

  • Manage budget for IT services and functions

  • Manage Regional IT management, operational, and support staff

  • Direct support of company Leadership including metrics and status reporting

  • Oversight of Acquisition activities

  • Coordinator of Corporate Initiatives and Activities across Traditions Corporate and Alcority (IT Infrastructure and Applications)

  • Company-wide Audit support and remediation
