Responsibilities:

Definition of the operational architecture in collaboration with the software architecture
Key involvement in environment design
Integration of the service into application performance monitoring
Handover of the service to application operations
Support for application operations in case of complex issues
Level 3 support for users of the DevOps toolchain

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with JBOSS, Tomcat, and Apache
3+ years experience of Unix-like operating systems
Extensive scripting knowledge in Bash, ksh, Perl, JavaScript, and Python
Knowledge in analyzing logical network communication using tools like Wireshark
Experience with open source communities
Continuous integration project experience
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Virtualization experience with Vmware or KVM, XEN
High level of English and German languages (B2+ level)
