Senior Odoo Developer "Fintech" - Fully Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing custom modules and working extensively with the Finance module. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Odoo's architecture, excellent coding skills, and a proven ability to customize and optimize ERP solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Odoo Development:
• Design, develop, and implement custom modules to extend Odoo functionality.
• Customize existing Odoo modules, especially in the Finance domain, to meet specific business needs.
• Finance Module Expertise:
• Configure, customize, and optimize Odoo's Finance module, including accounting, invoicing, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure seamless integration with other Odoo modules and third-party systems.
• System Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to enhance ERP performance and usability.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions.
• Oversee debugging and troubleshooting to address system issues effectively.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules and processes.
• Provide user manuals and support documentation for end-users.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with functional consultants and project managers to align technical development with business goals.
• Provide support during implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment phases.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development, including custom module creation and implementation.
• Expertise in working with the Finance module, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and workflows.
• Fintech Experience
• Skills:
• Proficient in Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo's framework, ORM, and API integration.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, jQuery) is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Certification in Odoo ERP or relevant technologies.
• Experience integrating Odoo with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
