Responsible for creation of Electronic Work Instruction (EWI) for new & sustaining products.

First call line support during HoV/NCI build. Provides Engineering assessment on issues stopping production during run of new product or program.

Responsible to review and validate design during workflow and after BOM release to correct any escapee that will impact manufacturing process continuity.

Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in design, tolerances, or processing methods.

Communicates effectively within and outside of own team to explain facts, policies and practices related to work area.

Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area

Procedure writing to set standards.

Ensure KPI’s / metrics of the team are met

All other tasks that are deemed appropriate by Product Engineering Manager.

Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

College graduate preferably with Engineering degree

Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions creation, or assembly manuals.

Knowledgeable in Engineering Tools: Proficient on the CORE analytical tools & techniques required for the job.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system and Teamcenter.

Understanding of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies.

Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year.

Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan.

With at least a year in his/her current position.

Soft Skills Requirement:

Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervision

Excellent Communication, English (both oral & written) and Presentation Skills

Willing to render extended hours as needed.

Technical Skills / Competencies:

Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office & DWG related programs)

Preferably with experience in using JD Edwards or any similar ERP systems

Preferably with experience in Team Center software application

Preferably with GD&T certification or training

Preferably with strong poka-yoke principle

Knowledge on 8D, DAISE and 3C is an advantage
