Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in automation practices.
    • Define QA best practices and ensure adherence across the team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the development lifecycle.
  • Automation Testing:
    • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and TestNG.
    • Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
    • Continuously enhance automation scripts to improve coverage and reliability.
  • Test Management:
    • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
    • Oversee defect tracking, triaging, and resolution processes.
    • Monitor and report on test progress and coverage metrics.
  • Salesforce Testing:
    • Collaborate with teams working on Salesforce projects to identify testing requirements.
    • Ensure quality standards are met for Salesforce implementations (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.
    • Programming with Java.
    • Test framework development using TestNG.
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing or familiarity with Salesforce architecture.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Certifications in Salesforce or testing frameworks.
