Position: Payments Support Specialist

As a Payment Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Director of Merchant Services and Support team to ensure customers are well supported with their payment processing needs. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing prompt and effective assistance to merchants regarding their payment processing needs.
- Managing merchant accounts, including setting up new accounts and updating account information. This may also involve monitoring account activity for signs of fraud or unusual behavior by reviewing transactions flagged by our Risk team.
- Conducting training sessions or providing educational materials to merchants on how to use payment processing tools and systems effectively.
- Investigating and resolving issues or disputes related to payment processing, such as chargebacks, deposit discrepancies, or transaction errors. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with merchants and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- A strong work ethic and the capacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Results oriented with an ability to work autonomously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in payment processing, merchant services and financial services.
- Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations is plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
