Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a detail-orientated, results-driven, Executive Talent Researcher. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of our evolving and expanding Talent Acquisition team as we launch our Executive recruiting team.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent background in executive/retained research with a specialty in recruitment and HR. The focus of the role will be to deliver outstanding quality research to the recruitment team by providing strategic research and pipeline generation with an emphasis on long-term relationship building. This role requires in-depth industry expertise in building and managing market intelligence, with experience driving passive strategy campaigns for both technical and non-technical roles executive roles.

How an Executive Talent Researcher will make an impact:

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to thoroughly understand the current recruitment process and the procedures
  • Liaise with Executives and commit to inclusive hiring in order to contribute to a culture guided by diverse backgrounds and ideas
  • Participate and conduct recruiting strategy meetings translating role needs into actionable search strategies
  • Gather data and analyze it to identify recurring trends
  • Identify issues within the current recruitment process and implement procedures and ideas to better improve the issues taking place
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment plans from the research conducted
  • Continually research and identify new and up-and-coming trends, practices, and technology that will assist the business with their recruitment efforts and ensure the business stays up to date with industry standards
  • Ensure both internal and external research is completed to gather a big picture of the current recruitment process, efforts, and issues
  • Uphold a focus on candidate experience, diversity and building long-term connections

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree along with 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 3 years focused on executive recruitment research from a retained search firm. In lieu of bachelor's degree, 14+ years of experience may serve as a degree substitute
  • 10+ years’ experience in leadership sourcing and/or recruiting experience with an executive search firm
  • Deep expertise in diversity hiring with a strong point of view around engagement and nurture strategies
  • Experience using recruitment databases, CRM, and or ATS systems or other HR business software
  • Good knowledge of social media activities and networking and how it can assist with recruitment efforts
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good organizational abilities and able to manage various projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to independently research without supervision
  • Excellent influencing abilities and willingness to take intelligent risks
  • Proficient with all Microsoft packages including, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Confident talking to and engaging with people at all levels

The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
