It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

 

In this role you will be part of our partner segment division. We have decades of experience building great consumer lending offerings, launching successful partnership programs (credit card, POSL, UCL) and managing partnership relationships.

This role will lead the efforts around new product development by creating strategies for new credit products that balance the delivery of both customer and business value. You will be responsible for identifying trends in consumer preferences, researching and understanding market changes as well as building strong relationships with business stakeholders.

This is a highly collaborative role with the business vertical owners in the segment. To succeed you will need to develop great relationships alongside a strong product strategy. Once a strategy is developed and new product identified, you will work with the operations and sales team to determine prioritization and implementation.

About This Role:

 

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Lead the ideation and design of innovative credit card products tailored to different customer segments and partners.

  • Work with the operations team to coordinate capabilities development and product launch

Concept Testing:
  • Rapidly plan and test new concept ideas

Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences

  • Be knowledgeable on competitor offerings to inform product development decisions

Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with vertical owners, marketing, finance, risk management, and technology teams to align on desired business goals

Strategic Planning:
  • Develop strategies for new credit card products to meet market demands, desired business outcomes and enhance competitiveness.

  • Collaborate with vertical owners on profit optimization through product mix

Performance Monitoring:
  • Track the performance of new products post launch

  • Analyze key metrics to make data-driven decisions for product enhancements

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Required:
  • 7-10 years' experience in Product director or VP role

  • Experience in a matrix environment with diverse activities, tight timelines and varied special projects

  • Team management and leadership skills

Desired:
  • 2-5 years consumer lending industry experience

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $93,977.00-$159,762.00

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
