Job Description:
As a Program Management Intern at DDN, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects and initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in program management in a fast-paced tech environment. This position is a PT position working 20 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking key project milestones and deliverables.
- Support cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to ensure alignment and progress.
Data Management & Reporting:- Gather and analyze project data to track performance against timelines and budgets.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders to ensure visibility and transparency.
Process Improvement:- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current workflows and propose actionable solutions.
- Help document and refine program management processes and best practices.
Meeting Facilitation:- Schedule and organize program meetings, prepare agendas, and document key decisions and action items.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
Risk & Issue Management:- Monitor and escalate risks, issues, or delays in project execution to program managers.
- Contribute to mitigation plans to address challenges proactively.
Special Projects:- Assist with ad-hoc projects or initiatives that contribute to DDN’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with mentors to explore innovative ideas for program success.
Qualifications
Education:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Smartsheet.
- Basic understanding of program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Interest in the technology sector, particularly AI, HPC, or storage solutions.
