Genesys is seeking a Senior Director, Global Solutions & Innovation, who will lead a team of highly skilled Solution Architects and Solution Specialists. This role will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational excellence in developing differentiated solutions for our most strategic customer engagements. You will play a key role in aligning cross-functionally and scaling innovation across the company. You will challenge your team to think differently about Customer Experience transformation, and how to drive better business outcomes by improving customer and employee experiences.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead a global team of Solution Architects, Subject Matter Experts, and Experience Innovation Specialists and aligning to strategic engagements and pursuits 

  • Collaborate with the Field & Product teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, blueprints, and prototypes 

  • Guide and motivate team to accelerate innovation globally by creating reusable and repeatable assets while capturing and sharing best practices 

  • Align with the global and regional Solution Consulting leadership to develop and execute initiatives designed to empower customers, the presales organization, and partners  

  • Collaborate with the Field and Product Leadership to provide global and regional data-driven feedback on technical & market trends, and influence investment priorities 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market 

  • Employ a growth mindset and lead with a vision, provide regular guidance, coaching, and feedback 

  • Provide the executive team with regular data-driven reporting and analysis on solutions consulting activities, metrics, and performance 

  • Drive thought leadership both internally and externally 
     

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred 

  • 8+ years of experience leading solutions consulting, technical sales, or related teams and 12+ years in relevant field 

  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises 

  • Proven track record of leading successful cross-functional collaboration initiatives that positively impacted growth objectives 

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly 

  • Strong understanding of CCaaS, Customer Experience, Workforce Engagement Management, and Digital & AI domains 

  • Excellent communication and data-driven storytelling skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Recognized as a thought leader, strategic influencer and trusted point of contact for business leaders and stakeholders 

  • Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities to architect innovative data-driven solutions for customers at executive level 

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sales, product, and engineering teams 

  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding data-driven sales targets 

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies 

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$175,900.00 - $326,700.00
