This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: Senior Director of Total Rewards who will be responsible for developing and executing the organization’s total rewards strategy to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. This includes overseeing compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee recognition programs. The role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and legal requirements.

Job Duties:

Strategic Leadership:

○ Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives.

○ Partner with senior leadership to ensure the total rewards strategy supports organizational goals and enhances employee engagement and retention.

Compensation Management:

○ Design and oversee competitive compensation structures, including base salaries, variable pay, and incentive programs.

○ Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

○ Manage the administration of compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary adjustments, and compensation planning.

Benefits Administration:

○ Oversee the design and management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

○ Evaluate and implement benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.

○ Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers.

Performance and Recognition:

○ Develop and manage performance management and employee recognition programs to drive high performance and engagement.

○ Implement and monitor employee recognition initiatives to reinforce organizational values and reward exceptional performance.

Compliance and Reporting:

○ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.

○ Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior leadership and the board of directors.

○ Monitor changes in legislation and industry trends to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.

Team Management:

○ Lead and mentor a team of total rewards professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

○ Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.

Communication and Collaboration:

○ Communicate total rewards policies and programs effectively across the organization.

○ Collaborate with other HR functions, including talent acquisition and employee relations, to ensure alignment and integration of total rewards programs.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

○ Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in total rewards or compensation and benefits roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.

○ Proven experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs in a complex, multi-national organization.

Skills:

○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decisions.

○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

○ Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations, market trends, and best practices.

○ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

If you are hired in California, the compensation range for this position is between $155,000 and $289,250 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience
