We are looking for a Litigation and Legal Product Specialist to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help us power up the traveller's journey for millions of holidaymakers.

The job in brief: 

Job Title Litigation and Legal Product Specialist

Working model -  full-remote from Spain

Team -  you will join the Litigation and Legal Product team within the Business Legal department. reporting to Litigation and Legal Product Counsel

Level - Professional 

Location -  Madrid, Spain

Contract -  Permanent - full-time (EUR 36 h/week)

Travel time required - average 15% needed 

What your impact will be 

  • Ensuring our consumer-facing websites and apps comply with legal requirements, from content displays to the entire search and booking/purchase journey.

  • Developing T&Cs for our platforms, products, promotions, and competitions.

  • Advising on the legal requirements and framework for offering and selling online travel-related products.

  • Supporting in drafting and reviewing international contracts, such as but not limited to distribution and sales agreements, agency agreements, service agreements, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sponsorship agreements etc

  • Overseeing commercial disputes and litigation across several jurisdictions.

  • Coordinating with external lawyers

  • Support with creating and implementing efficient and scalable ways of working to enable sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

Your expertise 

  • Degree in Law. Admission to the National Bar Association is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a precise, pragmatic, and hands-on manner; demonstrating problem-solving attitude

  • Perfect knowledge of English language (mandatory) - full proficiency of at least one of the following languages  Italian/German/French/Spanish is a plus.

  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational and project management, consistently meeting deadlines and effectively prioritising tasks.

  • Proficient drafting skills.

  • Confidence in providing support to both legal teams and business units.

  • Capability to showcase commercial awareness and a deep understanding of business requirements.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs), maintaining a consistently high standard of knowledge and application.
