Your mission as QA Engineer is to:

  • Ensuring product quality in order to achieve better customer satisfaction
  • Establishing and maintaining a quality system for all requirements
  • Analysing and evaluating data and key performances and drive continuous development of the quality
  • Conduct testing of applications, identifying deficiencies and creating and managing the overall quality planning strategy
  • Create and maintain automated tests to reduce the time of repetitive tasks
  • Creating reports for management and making sure that a quality awareness mindset is established in the team

What we will love about you:

  • You are an experienced QA Engineer with different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Performance Testing, API testing and have a knowledge of REST, Python, TypeScript
  • You have experience in writing automated tests in Playwright or you are willing to learn how to do that
  • You are experienced with agile methodologies and have strong analytical skills
  • You are a solution-oriented team player with an autonomous and proactive working style
  • You have experience / Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD (Github Actions) is a plus
  • You have great interpersonal and communication skills in English

    Milestones for the 1st month

    1. Build initial relationship with the Squad, Chapter and the team
    2. Have an overall understanding of the product and the technology
    3. Understand the organisational structure and know how to operate both within the Product Department and across departments.
    4. Be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, our internal processes, defect life cycle and comfortable to navigate it with the team
    5. Formally take over the QA activities in the squad

    Milestones from 1st - 3rd month

    1. Getting familiar with our test automation and start contributing to it
    2. Get deep understanding of the product in the dedicated Squad-owned areas
    3. Getting familiar with our Infrastructure and our CI/CD processes
    4. Autonomously lead the Squad testing activities - both manual and automation

    Milestones from 3rd - 6th month:

    1. Participate in code reviews for automation tests
    2. Learn best practices for scalable & maintainable automation
    3. Gain basic awareness of security testing principles
    4. Own complex testing tasks (manual & automation)
    5. Share your learnings with the team (presentations, documentation)
