About the Role:
We are looking for a back-end developer to support our Area Monitoring (AM) Platform team with database, front-end, and DevOps tasks here and there.
Agricultural Area Monitoring System for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is a collection of web applications, APIs, data services & analytics that is used for monitoring agriculture activities using satellite imagery. The system has been specifically designed for the needs of the European Union (EU) CAP compliance monitoring and is a full end-to-end service that combines and manages different data sources, advanced processing algorithms, distribution services, and end-user applications supporting National Paying Agencies (NPA) in managing and verifying CAP compliance.
The AM-Platform team is responsible for several system components and end-user applications that support the use of satellite imagery and geographical information in the business processes of the Slovenian National Paying Agency, including the system for evaluating results from satellite signals and machine learning model results of agricultural parcels.
This is a part-time position working 20-30 hours per week and is expected to work in our Ljubljana office once per week.
