Job description

Your Contribution
  • Oversee the quality assurance processes for both internal and customer-facing software projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, incorporating both manual and automated testing methodologies. Maintain and evolve test frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing.
  • Preparation, execution, documentation, and communication of tests.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of test methods, processes, and tools. Regularly share best practices and contribute to the development of standardized procedures.
  • Foster close collaboration between project teams, IT architects, and project management to align quality assurance objectives with project goals.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks
  • Gather requirement specifications. Work closely with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirement specifications.
  • Create detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing results. Communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Engage with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of software requirements and functionalities.
  • Perform exploratory testing with a focus on identifying and documenting defects.
  • Review defects and test logs to identify root causes and suggest solutions for improving testing, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Develop, write, and execute test conditions and test cases, utilizing both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Run test cases (manual, automated, or both).
  • Discover bugs and report them.
  • Performance tests.
  • Security tests.
Your Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years experience as Sr. Software Quality Engineer.
  • Experience with test automation and associated tools and methods.
  • Quality- and customer-oriented, ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with entrepreneurial thinking and exceptional organizational multitasking and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
