SEO Team Lead (iGaming)

On behalf of our client, a prominent iGaming company, are looking for an experienced SEO professional to take on the role of SEO Team Lead, driving the growth of organic traffic and overseeing the strategic direction of the SEO efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research in target GEOs, identifying ranking opportunities, performing keyword clustering, and analyzing user search intent.
• Design and execute comprehensive SEO and content strategies to boost organic performance.
• Develop and manage budgets, demonstrating the need for allocated resources and optimizing costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists and content managers, fostering high performance.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO-critical changes are effectively implemented.
• Partner closely with marketing teams to align SEO efforts with broader business objectives.
• Monitor website performance by tracking and analyzing key SEO metrics weekly and monthly, identifying deviations, and proposing actionable solutions.
• Provide regular reports on SEO strategy effectiveness and organic channel performance to the Head of Marketing.
  

Requirements:

• Language skills: at least Intermediate+ level of English (written and spoken), Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian is a must.
• 5+ years of SEO experience specializing in Google with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in the iGaming / gambling industry, experience with other high risk niche would be a plus.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, developing long-term organic growth strategies, and achieving KPIs.
• Extensive knowledge of Google algorithms in relevant niches/markets, with expertise in recovering from penalties and leveraging updates.
• Strong understanding of traffic conversion metrics and the impact of SEO strategies on these metrics.
• Proficiency in using tools such as GA, Tableau, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Serpstat, Similarweb, and Google Workspace.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Experience in launching projects from scratch is a plus.
