Job description

We are seeking an IoT Consultant to join our Manufacturing Analytics team of innovators. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, deploy, and optimize IoT solutions and architectures that solve complex challenges and deliver measurable outcomes for our clients from Pharmaceutical and FMCG companies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams from business and IT/OT, bridging the gap between technical possibilities, business needs, and data-driven use cases.


Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze client needs and design IoT architectures, ensuring alignment with objectives, maturity, scalability, and technology stack.
  2. Develop and present IoT strategic roadmaps that outline opportunities for Factory digital transformation and long-term technology integration.
  3. Lead architectural design efforts to ensure IoT solutions align with enterprise systems and existing technology landscapes.
  4. Advice our clients on the deployment of IoT solutions, including sensor integration, Systems integrations (e.g., LMS, MES, LIMS, SCADA), cloud platform configuration, and system testing.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate emerging IoT technologies and recommend solutions that support organizational goals.
  6. Work with data engineering teams as a point of guidance and SME to ensure alignment with the architectural approach and schematic strategy.
  7. Advise clients on IoT strategies, best practices, and emerging trends in the industry.
  8. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring buy-in at all levels.
  9. Ensure IoT solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements for data security and privacy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IoT, Information Systems, or related field. Additional certifications in IoT or related technologies are a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in IoT consulting, solution design, or deployment, with a proven track record in delivering end-to-end IoT projects across industries.
  • Strong expertise in IoT architecture design, strategic planning, and aligning IoT solutions with business objectives and Enterprise technological ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience in client advisory roles, particularly in identifying IoT opportunities and creating scalable roadmaps.
  • Deep knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and wireless communication standards (e.g., LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT, 5G).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the major IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
  • Strong understanding of IoT device management, edge computing, and integration with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, CRM, SCADA, LIMS, LMS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and standards for IoT implementations.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and AI for IoT-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with scripting and programming for IoT (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or Node.js) is a Plus / Nice to have.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
  • Microsoft Azure IoT Certification, or similar is a Plus.
  • Familiarity with the Pharma industry or FMCG is a big plus.
