Description

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing email marketing strategies for a portfolio of clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills to drive engagement, conversions, and ROI for our clients' campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in email and SMS marketing, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused mindset.

OBJECTIVES

  • Implement campaign strategies and enhance email and SMS marketing promotions for clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, offering strategic advice and cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Manage content creation, executing copy working with designers, and technical support team to produce engaging and customized email content and templates.
  • Deliver performance evaluations by tracking, measuring, and reporting on campaign effectiveness, offering clients actionable insights for improvement.
  • Perform A/B Testing to refine email content, subject lines, CTAs, and design for optimal performance.
  • Ensure that all campaigns adhere to email and SMS marketing regulations such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other pertinent laws.
  • Leverage email marketing platforms and tools effectively to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design and technical support, to ensure successful integration and execution.

COMPETENCIES

  • Exceptional industry knowledge of SMS marketing tools and strategies is highly important, aiding in the development of effective campaigns.
  • A fundamental understanding of email marketing metrics, including CTR, open rates, and conversion rates, is essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate top-notch project management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Skilled in advanced verbal and written communication skills that foster effective client interactions and seamless internal collaboration with team members.
  • A strong analytical mindset, coupled with a passion for making data-driven decisions to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for designing emails is a valuable bonus, providing added versatility in campaign execution.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, with a strong emphasis on managing client accounts and demonstrating leadership skills in guiding teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Professional proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or others, showcasing ability to lead and train others in their effective use.
  • Experience in providing a solid foundation for leadership and strategic insight in marketing initiatives.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is highly advantageous

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods attending or presenting on video calls with camera on.
