As a Software Engineer, you will lead quality and integration efforts for advanced steering systems. In this role, you’ll define requirements, coordinate with suppliers, conduct testing, and ensure alignment with technical plans, focusing on software quality, safety, and system reliability. Using FMEA, cybersecurity practices, and engineering tools, you’ll drive continuous improvements in steering architecture and overall performance.

Responsibilities:

• System Quality Improvement: Continuously enhance the quality of the steering system, following established procedures and plans.
• Collaboration and Specification: Partner with architects, engineers, and attribute teams to define component specifications and communicate with suppliers.
• Testing and Validation: Create test plans, conduct acceptance tests, and review results to ensure quality standards are met.
• Cross-functional teamwork: Collaborate closely with safety, vehicle dynamics, manufacturing, and external suppliers to deliver according to defined criteria.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in relevant engineering fields (Controls, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science).
• 5+ years in SW development - covering FMEA, system safety, cybersecurity, and quality assurance.
• Strong proficiency in product development systems and tools.
• Valid driving licence
• Occasional traveling needed onsite to Gothenburg
