As the Senior Manager of TV, Audio & Display you encompass leadership in client services, where you anticipate client needs and build effective relationships by delivering tailored solutions and communicating technical concepts clearly. You excel in data analysis, leveraging diverse data sources and statistical methods, and demonstrate technical expertise in SQL. You independently manage Tier II streaming and linear tasks, engage strategically with clients, collaborate effectively across teams, and possess deep industry knowledge of media trends and strategies. Additionally, you excel in team leadership, guiding roles, fostering innovation, and aligning goals to drive team success.

As the Senior Manager, TV, Video, Audio, Display you will:

  • Client Services Leadership: Ability to gain insight in order to understand and anticipate clients' goals and needs, plus identify opportunities to benefit the client. It is your ability to build and deliver solutions to establish and maintain an effective client relationship. Your ability to listen attentively and transmit clearly and effectively technical and business concepts, ideas, feelings, opinions and conclusions, both verbally and in writing.

  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze client inquiries, determine necessary data sources (such as S3, internal systems, Drive), interpret statistical methods (including means, medians, crosstabs, correlations, basic linear regression), grasp experimental testing fundamentals, and manage KPI setup for straightforward cases, requiring minimal oversight.

  • Technical Expertise: Mastery of basic and intermediate SQL concepts, including different types of joins, grouping, creating temporary tables, etc.

  • Strategic Client Engagement: You'll independently manage Tier II streaming and linear tasks, adeptly explain our attribution methodologies to clients, handle daily client communications, and confidently guide client presentations with flexibility.

  • Cross Collaboration: Your collaborative skills are essential in achieving shared goals both internally and externally, ensuring success by understanding stakeholders, showing respect, appreciation, and active support, contributing to company-wide initiatives, and identifying and coordinating valuable new features with the Streaming+ team and Product team.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of media trends, understanding how they affect client goals, with expertise in audio and streaming video inventory, CPMs, clearance, gross vs. net, and concepts like reach and frequency. You advise on YouTube as an acquisition channel, evaluate audio buying strategies (e.g., host-read vs. producer-read podcasts), and explain media measurement basics, including TRP calculations.

  • Team Leadership: You excel in team leadership, defining roles, motivating innovation, challenging and developing team member(s), aligning goals with company objectives, overcoming obstacles, ensuring timely deliverables, guiding onboarding, and prioritizing skill development.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of work experience in a startup, internal strategy group, tech company, consultancy, or roles in marketing or finance; experience in a client service role is highly advantageous.

  • High level of comfort with quantitative concepts and a proven ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and communicate findings from data to clients in a clear and impactful manner.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client-facing materials and presentations.

  • Exceptional personal organization and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SQL knowledge is a plus.
