Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Argano is seeking a Sr. Consultant to be a part of our Sales Performance Management team. We are laser focused on designing, building, and deploying sales performance management systems on our partner platforms. As a member of the consulting team, you will be involved directly with clients and responsible for delivering quality work on mid-size to large client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mid to large size consulting projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Lead client facing meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with team leaders and specialists in solution design.
  • Configure ICM system to meet requirement needs.
  • Design and implement data extract/transform/load strategies.
  • Coordinate quality assurance and testing phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess readiness and plan for system roll-out.
  • Assist Project Manager with supporting deployed projects.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, solution designs, configurations, and any modifications made.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Software Engineering, Informational Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a software development or systems analyst role.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Sales Performance Management tools (ideally Varicent).
  • Comfortable with emerging technologies, learning new software, understanding a data model and an object model.
  • Experienced writing SQL queries, and writing design specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of software development & implementation life cycles.
  • Experience with major relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML, BI Cognos reporting, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). (Nice to have).
  • Must have the ability to travel to the U.S. 5-10%.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must possess/be certified in one or more of the following:
    • Varicent V10, SAP Callidus, Xactly, Spiff, SPM specific certification.

  • Communication: proficient in English written and verbal communications
  • Knowledge: Understanding of various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
  • Strategic Thinking: Consultants II should have a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute project strategies. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals.
  • Client Engagement: Building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and understanding client needs are vital.
  • Innovation: Contributing innovative ideas and solutions is important for addressing complex challenges.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding project budgets, profitability, and financial implications is important.
