A Day in the Life

Medtronic is hiring a Technical Consultant for an open position within the CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) Operating Unit with responsibility on the whole Piemonte and Liguria territory. In the role, you will have a crucial impact on our patients by providing key technical expertise to cardiologists, sales representatives, sales and marketing functions, mainly supporting implant and follow up procedures and throughout presentations and demonstrations of company products like pacemakers, loop recorders and implantable defibrillators.

The person who will cover the role of Technical Consultant CRM will provide technical and specialist support in the operating room to allow a correct use of Medtronic products in the Piemonte and Liguria Area and whenever needed in the whole Italian territory. You will be part of a team, with a home based role, under a permanent contract.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide implant and follow-up support to physicians and nurses of CRM products.
  • Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers.
  • Participate in presentations, conferences and meetings to support Sales colleagues in giving doctors all the necessary information about our products while building solid relationships
  • Take part in the training and technical updating of physicians, hospital personnel, and all others involved in the use of Medtronic products.
  • Give support in post marketing activities, through Customer Relationship Management tools (Lightning Salesforce, MMX).
  • Have good commercial skills, as being in daily contact with doctors and non-clinical staff, will have the opportunity to share complete information on products, therapies and services.
  • Provide technical/specialist support when the doctor requests it, taking care to share all the clinical data necessary to demonstrate the efficacy of the product


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in bioengineering useful for Continuous technical and clinical learning attitude
  • Communication, collaboration skills, proactive mindset
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least level B2)
  • Problem Solving: ability to deal with the problem from multiple points of view, helping the doctor to find the best solutions to technical problems.
  • Team oriented, with attitude to live the Medtronic Mission inside and outside the organization
  • Based within the Piemonte territory but availability to travel within the Italian territory


A previous experience within a healthcare environment is a nice to have.
