Job description

YOUR MISSION

Want to shape the tech talents of tomorrow? Join us at WBS CODING SCHOOL - Europe's leading hybrid coding school!

Our sole goal is for our students to be successful in the tech industry after completing the bootcamp - and that starts with knowing the ins and outs of the technical recruiting process.

As a Career Service Manager with a focus on Partner Management, you will take responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships with partner companies while supporting students in their career transitions. Your role bridges the gap between fostering meaningful partnerships and empowering students to achieve their career goals.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will focus on expanding our partner network, fostering meaningful collaborations, and ensuring our graduates have access to valuable professional connections. You will also work closely with our Career Services Topic Lead to drive initiatives that strengthen partnerships and align with the needs of our programs.

Your Responsibilities

Partner Management

You will play an important role in building and managing relationships with partner companies to expand and maintain a strong network of startups, SMEs, and large enterprises, creating opportunities that support our students' career transitions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and nurturing collaborations with companies to support our programs and graduates.
  • Identifying organizations that can provide internship opportunities for graduates of our one-year programs.
  • Engaging partners through events, initiatives, and online interactions to foster strong relationships.
  • Managing and utilizing HubSpot to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of partner data.
  • Connecting students and graduates with career opportunities from partner companies or talent placement requests via our Talent Pool.

Talent Management

Collaborate with our other Career Service Managers to deliver outstanding support to students, focusing on their career readiness. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing application documents of our students to ensure professionalism and impact.
  • Offering career guidance to students addressing career-related challenges.
  • Facilitating workshops and Q&A sessions, covering topics like CV creation, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, and soft-skill development.
  • Supporting students in identifying suitable job opportunities and guiding them through the job search process.

Your Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in (Tech) Recruiting, Talent Management, Partner Management, Sales, or Career Services.
  • A proactive and hands-on mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • High customer orientation and a passion for delivering quality service.
  • Adaptability and a drive for continuous improvement of current services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners.
  • A genuine interest in supporting career changers and a belief in the transformative power of education.
  • A positive and approachable appearance that fosters enjoyable working relationships.
  • Proficiency in German and English (C1 level) to confidently communicate in various professional contexts.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by cultivating partnerships and empowering students to launch successful careers. If you are passionate about connecting people and opportunities, we would love to hear from you!
