Senior/Principal Machine Learning Engineer - Project Part Time [Permanent recruitment]

Our team comprises top-tier talent, and we're seeking a dynamic Machine Learning Engineer to join us part-time on a flexible contract basis. This role offers you the freedom to work remotely and on your own terms, while engaging in exciting projects with significant real-world impact. The contract is flexible because it is a part-time project-based job

Tasks

In this role, you'll frequently engage in rapid Proof of Concept exercises, as our work is consultancy-oriented rather than corporate, offering the opportunity to tackle real-life business pain points and challenges. You'll be directly involved with clients, conducting demos, or presenting final reports.

• Developing and implementing ML/AI modules for various projects.
• Training and fine-tuning models to meet client requirements.
• Collaborating with experienced data scientists and data engineers to create scalable AI solutions.
• Engaging with international clients and ensuring effective communication.
• Preparing and modeling client data for analysis and model training.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 3/5 years of commercial experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong skills in Python and a deep understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
• Comfortable working with clients and fluent in English.
  
  

Nice-to-have Skills That Would Make You a Standout Candidate

• Experience with Docker, AWS, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with other ML/AI tools like PyTorch Lightning, LangChain, Keras, or Scikit-Learn.
• Previous experience in scientific data science or machine learning projects.
• Experience with semi-supervised and self-supervised learning.
