Senior Data Scientist – eCommerce

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing eCommerce team. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced machine learning systems to drive our global eCommerce growth. If you are passionate about applying cutting-edge ML techniques in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Proven recent experience on eCommerce projects leveraging data science and machine learning.
• Strong Python expertise, including hands-on experience with ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Git, Kubernetes, or similar, to streamline and optimize workflows.
  
  

• Experience in supply chain projects is a strong nice-to-have.
• Functional familiarity with software development and data engineering best practices.
• Expertise in optimization and forecasting models and understanding of trade-offs between different solutions.
• Experience with distributed cloud computing platforms, including Hadoop, Spark, or Kubernetes.
• A Master’s degree (or higher) in STEM or equivalent field.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into business insights.
• Knowledge of AI application development and industry best practices.
• Experience creating and sharing documentation or best practices for the broader ML community.
  
  

• Design and develop large-scale machine learning systems to solve complex eCommerce challenges.
• Analyze large datasets and build custom models and algorithms to uncover actionable insights.
• Establish clean and organized coding standards to enhance team efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement ML-driven solutions.
• Lead the creation of documentation and best practices to share with the internal and external ML communities.
