Avigilon Security System Specialist

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise in Motorola Solutions products is required, specifically Avigilon ACC and ACM, Alta Video and Access Control, and Motorola Radios (primary requirement).
• Proficient in Access Control Systems, Electrified Door Hardware, Alarm Systems, and Closed Circuit Television Systems (Analog & IP).
• Experience with low voltage cabling and device termination.
• Skilled in programming, commissioning, and start-up of low voltage systems, including but not limited to Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, and Surveillance systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, program, commission, and test low voltage devices, wiring, and rough-in.
• Supervise, direct, monitor, and train helpers, installers, telecom technicians, and electricians.
• Instruct team members on the correct operation of tools, equipment, and safe work practices, as well as the technical principles involved.
• Accurately complete all assignment-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend foreman meetings and collaborate with the Project Manager for project inspections and finalization.
• Effectively troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to installation and programming.
• Identify, schedule, and facilitate all job site inspections with the customer and Project Manager.
