Job description

Here’s a summary of the role:

Join YouGov’s Data Products Client Services team, where we focus on transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions for our clients. Using industry-leading products like BrandIndex, Profiles, and CategoryView, we support clients with brand health tracking, customer journey mapping, audience profiling, and campaign analysis. Our team combines syndicated tools, analytics, data visualization, and storytelling to craft impactful data stories and build strong relationships as trusted strategic partners.

As a Client Services Analyst, you’ll become an expert in YouGov’s tracking and profiling databases, enabling you to uncover meaningful insights that address clients’ key questions. This role involves collaborating with clients on research objectives, survey design, and data analysis, with a focus on tourism and consumer behavior.

If you have a passion for data, problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to join a collaborative team that values innovation, responsiveness, and delivering the best solutions to our clients.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, helping clients across agencies, travel, dining and non-profit verticals maximize their YouGov data subscriptions with expert guidance on research objectives, survey development, and best practices.
  • Analyze and interpret data across various industries, crafting high-quality presentations and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to senior and C-Suite audiences.
  • Use a blend of syndicated tools, analytics, and storytelling to answer key business questions, such as Brand Health, Customer Funnel Journeys, Audience Profiling, and Campaign Tracking.
  • Continuously improve reporting standards and data visualizations while responding to client requests with efficiency, accuracy, and a proactive approach to solving data-related challenges.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • 0-2+ years of experience, ideally in market research, survey design, data analysis, or account management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with familiarity in data visualization tools preferred.
  • This role requires a mix of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Every day brings new challenges, and flexibility is essential to tackle diverse client projects.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and proven ability to manage and interpret data effectively

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $64,500 - 78,000 USD

Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits. All US based full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:

  • Paid vacation, holidays and sick days
  • Flexible working arrangement available
  • Group medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) with company match
