What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll join CIBC’s Imperial Service Advice Team supporting Imperial Service clients. As a Financial Consultant you will utilize developed knowledge of CIBC banking financial services to provide specialized support on all aspects of the financial planning and advice cycle. You’ll review and evaluate the needs of customers while maintaining a standard for World Class Service. You will utilize knowledge and experience on products, policies, processes and procedures to enhance and deepen client relationship.
Our Contact Centre is open Monday to Friday 08:00AM to 08:00PM and therefore you will need to be open to working shifts within these days and hours.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.
We have embarked on an Agent@Home remote work program. All employees are required to meet the Agent@Home program requirements and be able to attend your primary work location within two hours’ notice for any business related purposes.
Agent @ Home Program Requirements
Ability to work independently in a private and quiet workspace (ie. in a room or office with a door that closes)
Wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rate (internet connection can be connected to modem through hard cable (not wireless) with a minimum download speed of 15 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps)
Satellite internet providers are prohibited and cannot be used due to the impact on call quality and the stability of service
How You’ll Succeed
Client Engagement - Provide exceptional client experience through delivering trusted advice resulting in consolidation of assets and earn referrals from your clients and friends. Build, maintain and retain client relationships that lead to an in-depth understanding of a client’s goals and financial situation that would enable you to provide high quality financial planning, advice, and recommendations tailored to each client.
Subject Matter Expert - Engage with several new referrals based and existing clients every day to understand their long term financial goals and objectives and their short term financial needs. Present customized financial recommendations, offer advice and complete sales. Ensure risk to the bank is minimized through file accuracy reviews, which includes ensuring correct documentation has been received from a legal, Anti-Money Laundering and CIBC adherence perspective.
Business Development - Identify possible process improvements that would increase productivity and ensure optimal efficiency and client satisfaction.
You’re a certified professional. You have current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course and Successful completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) within 3 months of start date is required. Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within 30 months of start date is required. It’s an asset to have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
