Job Description

Embark on an exciting career opportunity as a Bilingual Healthcare Receptionist/Customer Support specialist for a leading pediatric practice. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the welcoming voice and first point of contact for patients and their families, seamlessly blending your exceptional customer service skills with your bilingual abilities in English and Spanish. You’ll play a crucial part in managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication flow within the practice. Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet and assist patients and their families in both English and Spanish, providing a positive first impression of the practice
  • Efficiently manage incoming calls, addressing inquiries and routing them appropriately
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using the practice’s state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff, facilitating clear communication and exceptional care
  • Handle peak-time overflow calls with composure and efficiency, ensuring no patient inquiry goes unanswered
  • Collaborate closely with the in-office team to optimize patient flow and enhance overall practice operations
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
  • Participate in ongoing training initiatives to stay current with healthcare regulations and best practices
Requirements
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
  • Proven track record in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and CRM software is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturday mornings
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies and processes
