Job description

This is a Seller Account Executive role on a 6-month contract basis, in our NY office.

We're seeking a Seller Account Executive to join our Seller Success and Programming team. This role is pivotal in establishing robust relationships with our sellers. You'll work closely with them, providing guidance, support, and resources to boost their success on our platform. The perfect candidate will exhibit a genuine passion for Depop and excel in supporting and fostering the growth of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate personalised seller consultation calls, leveraging data to pinpoint growth opportunities and tackle seller challenges effectively.

  • Guide sellers in setting and reaching their business objectives, providing customized recommendations and strategies for success.

  • Analyze seller performance and Depop feature adoption to uncover areas for improvement.

  • Lead informative group webinars to educate our user base on effective selling practices.

  • Work closely with internal Depop teams to champion sellers' needs, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Monitor and engage with the community, on our Community Forum. 

Qualifications:

  • Background in account management or a similar role, showcasing skills in relationship management and driving growth.

  • Previous experience in consumer-facing or community-focused roles, showcasing adeptness in community engagement.

  • Proficiency in utilizing data for insights and decision-making, including experience with data analytics tools to inform strategic initiatives and effectively support sellers.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for developing and maintaining strong relationships with sellers.

  • Customer-centric mindset focused on understanding and addressing the needs of sellers to facilitate their success on the platform. 

  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

  • A Depop buyer/seller is a plus
