Job description

Shine with us at Sunrise ABA! We are looking for an RCM manager to join our growing team. The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and optimizing the revenue cycle processes. This individual ensures efficient and accurate billing, collections, and revenue reporting for all clinical services while maintaining compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. The RCM Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance overall financial performance.

SunRise ABA provides home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy customized to fit the individual needs of those with developmental or learning challenges. We offer personalized ABA therapy in a setting that supports both individuals and families who are navigating the unique challenges and strengths of living with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage back-end revenue cycle processes including but not limited to claims submission, payment posting, and collections. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for ABA services in accordance with payer contracts and guidelines.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle operations and implement strategies to optimize results.
  • Oversee claims submission and follow-up processes to ensure maximum reimbursement.
  • Address denied or rejected claims by investigating root causes, preparing appeals, and resubmitting claims as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all claims activity and payer communications.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes accountability and excellence.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA.)
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing practices, insurance reimbursement, and payer guidelines is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with multi-state, California school and Regional Center revenue cycle a plus. 
  • MUST have 2-5 years of experience with Central Reach.
