Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others? At Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group (CCG), you’re not just joining a team—you’re joining a movement. Together, we transform lives by treating substance use and mental health disorders with compassion and evidence-based care.

When you become part of our team, you’ll feel the energy of an organization that’s committed to patient care, innovation, and collaboration. We’re looking for dedicated professionals like you to grow with us as we continue expanding across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Why You’ll Love It Here

At Kolmac, we believe in you and the meaningful impact you bring to our patients and their families. With us, you’ll:

  • Work with a team that values diversity, inclusion, and a collaborative approach to care.
  • Feel supported by leadership that invests in your growth and the tools you need to succeed.
  • Thrive in an environment where your ideas matter, and patient care is at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:

A Day in Your Life as an Addiction Counselor

Imagine this:

  • Your day begins with building connections—whether facilitating engaging group therapy sessions or collaborating with your interdisciplinary team to ensure every patient has a path forward.
  • You bring innovative ideas and trauma-informed care into practice, using skills like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to empower patients.
  • You will engage in case management sessions that include assessments, collaborative treatment goals, discharge planning, and partnering with referral sources and/or other healthcare providers.
  • You’ll balance clinical expertise with compassion, helping individuals transition from IOP to OP care and celebrating their progress along the way.
  • You will demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care through timely and well written documentation, as well as engaging with important clinical outcomes such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP to OP, treatment goal attainment, etc.
  • And throughout all your interactions, you will embody the spirit of a teacher, continually demonstrating positive energy that promotes addiction recovery education and learning, both in and out of group or individual sessions

We understand this work requires energy and passion, so we make sure you’re supported with manageable workloads, access to resources, and the recognition you deserve.

Your Schedule

  • Monday through Friday: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM (remote or in-person).
  • Occasional virtual Saturday shifts (9 am – 12 pm) on a rotating 6 – 8 week schedule with the availability to work more based on performance and business needs.
  • Support the organization a few times a year as part of the after hours on call care team
Qualifications:

What You Bring to the Table

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Is a natural communicator—your clinical, verbal, and writing skills help patients feel understood.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, creativity, and accountability shine.
  • Enjoys working in a program that requires versatility and a willingness to grow and expand over the next several years.
  • Sees potential in every patient and works hard to help them see it too.

You’ll also need:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals in recovery (group experience is a bonus).
  • Be licensed to provide services in Maryland
  • Licensure as an ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LMSW, or similar.
  • A solid understanding of recovery modalities like 12-Step, SMART Recovery, or Harm Reduction.

What We Offer You

At Kolmac, we care for you as much as you care for your patients. Here’s what you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive pay: up to $50 per hour, depending on your experience and licensure.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K.
  • Wellness program that pays you to make healthy lifestyle choices.
  • $500 monthly childcare reimbursement for those working an evening shift.
  • Tuition reimbursement, paid professional development days, and student loan repayment programs.
  • Money towards those important continuing education credits.
  • Generous vacation time to recharge and focus on you.
