Social Media Specialist

We are seeking a driven, curious, and proactive new team member for our Marketing organization who will be responsible for executing the social media strategy for Altera’s corporate presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and perhaps beyond. The person in this role will be a key player in helping deliver our messaging to the healthcare industry, expanding our reach to broader audiences, promoting our content, and further establishing the Altera brand with the market at large. We are looking to add a creative and passionate team member to help elevate the company’s social presence to the next level.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance and execute Altera Digital Health’s corporate social media strategy
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to create unique content specific for social media
  • Identify key healthcare industry social media influencers and develop and execute an outreach strategy to drive engagement with Altera and other client/industry organizations
  • Promote social media activity within the company to encourage employee engagement with our platforms
  • Monitor social media activity to help ensure positive brand reputation
  • Regularly measure and report on progress (follower growth, engagement, impressions)
  • Ensure employee compliance with the Altera Digital Health social media policy

Role Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience leading a corporate social media program (B2B preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A team player who is eager to collaborate with colleagues, but is also capable of working independently
  • Knowledge of the healthcare IT industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications or related field.

Working Arrangements:

  • Standard workweek or as defined by assignment requirements.
  • Flexibility to work in a standard office environment or remotely.
  • Availability for after-hours, on-call support, and holidays as needed.
  • Expect on-call and after-hours work during peak times, including end of month/quarter/year; during these times, PTO is limited to meet business needs.
