Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud services and infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
  • Cloud Architecture: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead the infrastructure operations team, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems and services
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of cloud engineers, infrastructure specialists, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and optimize service delivery
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud services and infrastructure operations adhere to security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and reporting frameworks to assess the performance and efficiency of cloud services and infrastructure, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging cloud technologies to support business goals and enhance customer experiences

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud services, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking, security, and database management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools

Salary Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
