About Our Internship Program:

Our Winter/Spring 2025 internship cycle takes place between January and April.

This is an unpaid, remote educational internship. Our internship program runs for 12 weeks and provides our interns a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly to a supervisor, explore your career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors

Summary of Position:

NVE Strategy & Communications is an internal team of interdisciplinary marketing strategists. Structured to develop breakthrough ideas and experiential extensions that deliver business solutions for our partners. Every team member brings a unique discipline and career of expertise to the table — built from diverse creative and cultural angles to develop solutions for our brand partners.

This role will directly support and report to NVE’s Director, Strategy, periodically working with other members within Strategy & Communications as needed. The Strategy & Communications Intern will gain experience across our department capabilities:

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Research brand, consumer, and market trends to help create tailored insights and competitive analysis reports for clients and Strategy and Communications
  • Participate in multi-department brainstorms and creative ideation for Fortune 100 brands
  • Assist in internal and external project management for core accounts in industries including food & beverage, media & entertainment, and lifestyle
  • Participate in partnership planning and strategy for active partnership projects
  • Support PR team efforts across social and brand marketing including research, marketing program execution, coverage tracking, updating media lists, etc. 

Administrative:

  • Attend weekly meetings with Strategy & Communications Department
  • Assist with meeting/conference preparation, organizing meeting materials, etc.
  • Take comprehensive notes during all meetings – internal and external
  • Circulate post-meeting recap emails after all meetings – internal and external
  • Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Ideal majors: English, Communications, or a related field
  • Can write effectively, persuasively and professionally
  • Process-oriented and highly organized
  • Have exceptional time management skills
  • Value collaboration yet have the confidence to recommend and own new ideas
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Understand and are fascinated by culture, subcultures, and the forces that move them
  • Have an interest in marketing, advertising, PR, consumer experiences. Agency experience is a plus

Requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled in a college/university
  • Must have a personal laptop/computer 
  • Must be able to work remotely at least 3 full days or 20 hours a week 

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in Los Angeles or New York, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.
