We all have important information we need to manage, and protecting it should be easy. Over 100,000 businesses and millions of people log in to 1Password to unlock smart, simple access to everything they care about. Our vision is to create a safer, simpler digital future for everyone, and our culture values simplicity, honesty and a human-centric approach to solving problems. Come help us unlock peace of mind so everyone can stay safer online.

We’re looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join our team, reporting to the Director of Field and Corporate Events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of high-impact sponsored and company-owned events that increase brand awareness, accelerate pipeline, and drive revenue. You’ll work with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Partnerships, Product, and our Executive Team to ensure event experiences align with business goals, provide value to attendees, and deliver measurable results. Your work will encompass everything from large-scale conferences to co-branded partner events, virtual experiences, and tailored activations that put 1Password in front of our key personas and targeted audiences.

We’re looking for a creative thinker with a passion for security who isn’t afraid to push boundaries and take bold initiatives. This role will foster alignment with sales leaders, campaign managers and other internal stakeholders to drive and enable B2B growth for 1Password.

This is a remote opportunity within the US.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS or cybersecurity, and a track record of scaling event programs.
  • Expertise in targeted Field Events: Proven success in planning and executing a range of field activities from CISO roundtables to VIP sporting experiences.
  • Expertise in Large-Scale Events: Proven success in planning, managing, and optimizing sponsorships at large-scale events and trade shows, with strong budget management skills.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and GTM leadership.
  • Strategic, Results-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make decisions that drive meaningful business results.
  • Strong Communication and Organization: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, innovate, and take a creative approach to event marketing.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to support event initiatives.

  • What you can expect:
  • Drive Major Event Initiatives: Develop and execute event marketing strategies for our sponsorships at industry trade shows and priority field programs that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and contribute to the pipeline. Leverage data to refine the program, improving outcomes and efficiencies.
  • Oversee Execution and Operations: Manage all planning and logistical aspects of your events, including staffing, registration, on-site experiences, vendor coordination, sponsorship benefit delivery, and event debriefing sessions. Ensure events run smoothly and deliver on strategic goals.
  • Partner Events: Lead the execution and logistics management for Partner Events. Ensure Partner Event program plans are designed to achieve the defined partner program objectives, which may include recruiting, activating, and/or generating partner demand.
  • Campaign Integration: Develop a process for ensuring event plans are aligned and integrated with both Corporate Marketing and Segment Campaign initiatives. Find opportunities to leverage events to support Segment-specific brand awareness and demand creation objectives.
  • Follow-Up and Reporting:  Ensure a smooth process for capturing and moving event-generated leads through the pipeline in alignment with Sales and Marketing objectives, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting. Facilitate planning sessions to ensure seamless event execution and post-event retros to identify opportunities for future event optimization.  Develop event metrics and analyze performance, supervising return on investment, pipeline contribution, and attendee engagement.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Take full responsibility of event program management, ensuring clearly defined cross-functional roles and responsibilities, driving event project management, and owning stakeholder communication and participation.
  • Stakeholder Participation & Communication: Partner closely with GTM sales, customer success, and leadership teams, ensuring aligned event objectives, clarifying stakeholder participation at events, and confirming GTM’s role in driving meetings and/or attendance. Provide timely updates on event progress to key stakeholder and post-event recaps and performance reporting.
  • Event Program Scale & Process Optimization: Build event templates and “events-in-a-box” to provide consistency and scale in how we plan, build, and execute tier 2 and field/partnership team managed events. Become an expert at event campaign operations and drive process improvements to increase execution efficiency.
  • Innovate and Optimize: Continually bring fresh ideas, experiment with new approaches, and apply learnings to enhance our events program.
  • USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $155,000 USD and $209,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
