The Opportunity 

The Business Systems Analyst, Regulatory Compliance will provide system requirement definition and support to ensure Riskonnect Regulatory Functions and Clients are compliant with jurisdiction mandated regulations. Perform proactive research and monitoring of key claims regulations and define system requirements to accommodate these requirements by mandated dates. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Jurisdiction Requirement Research, Business Systems Analysis and Requirement Definition, Maintaining requirement repositories, and providing support to internal and external customers.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively monitoring legislation and regulation requirement changes 
  • Review of jurisdiction websites for identification of State Form additions, changes, and deletions
  • Requirement Definition - Eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing regulatory business needs
  • Acquiring and maintaining pertinent regulatory knowledge and experience (examples include: (Workers Comp State Forms, IAIABC FROI/SROI EDI, CMS Section 111 Reporting, 1099)
  • Maintaining solution specific domain expertise for Riskonnect regulatory compliance products 
  • Maintaining Regulatory requirement repositories and libraries
  • Testing and Quality Assurance of regulatory functions
  • Coordinate with development and other Product / IT individuals to create and release regulatory functionality
  • Provide support and answer questions for internal and external customers 
  • Develop product enhancement communications for internal and external audiences
  • Establish and maintain relationships with pertinent jurisdiction representatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements: 

  • Computer and business system literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written
  • The following skill sets are a highly desired plus: 
    • Workers Compensation Claims administration, claims adjustor responsibilities, knowledge and/or experience
    • Indemnity Benefit knowledge or experience
    • Claims Regulatory Industry experience 
    • Insurance Claim knowledge or experience
  • Also a plus:
    • Adobe PDF editing experience
    • Project management skills 
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent professional business experience preferred
